There was certainly probable cause for an arrest and, if the prosecutor couldn't get a conviction based on the evidence at the scene, he should resign and take up ambulance chasing.

This is the worst case of injustice I think I’ve ever read. Whether laziness, ineptitude or disregard for the victim, the sheriff and D.A. botched this so badly they should be held accountable. I cannot imagine the pain this family has endured. This never should have happened.

I couldn't agree more. The procedural problems with the investigation are so serious, you can't even call it an investigation.

Worse, is the thought that charges may never be brought because the sheriff’s department would have to disclose their incompetence with the initial investigation and my guess is they don’t even want to go there. That’s why there are still no charges two years later. I hope for the sake of the family, that doesn’t happen. This case needs new eyes with authority to get things done.

There are two things that I fear in this world, one is to be eaten by an animal while still alive, and the other is suffering injustice at the hands of inept or corrupt law enforcement and the legal jurisdiction they work in. And of the two fears, I believe I'd rather be eaten alive by an animal rather than enduring such a travesty of justice as this case is.

I can't help but think, there must be corruption involved. There is no way incompetence was the reason for this injustice. And I would think there must be someone being protected as in the father or family member of the killer, who clearly reveals there was moral upbringing influences present in the mind while in the back seat of the cruiser for over an hour. His statements absolutely reveal the mind of a broken moral mind due to being guilty of murder.

Someone is being protected for some reason and that person is powerful, which explains why everyone fears speaking on this injustice. And if I'm wrong, and the reason is incompetence, damn, many individuals in that jurisdiction should be incarcerated.

TOTALLY AGREE! I would much rather be a gator snack than deal with this. I have no idea how the family has been able to maintain their sanity for the last two years. This whole thing has been like a bad dream for them, but one they cannot wake up from.

There very well may be not enough to convict but that there was no arrest made is bizarre. If anything DAs love arresting and harassing white males. I think we can conclude incompetence or protecting somebody with a lot of sway is what’s going on here.

I need to contact Mark Brutnell ... he is the Special Agent in Charge for the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and ask them to review the original case file. They have jurisdiction and I hope they can pick up the case or assist in working the case. I have called the Florida Department of Law Enforcement to call me ... hopefully they will return my call.

Was this case presented to a Grand Jury? If it wasn't, why not?

The majority of the felony case I investigated were referred to the DA and then presented to a Grand Jury to be No Billed or True Billed. I would think that Florida's DAs would present felony cases to a Grand Jury, or do they do things differently in that state?

They ASA never impaneled a grand jury.

Wish the State Persecutor (no that is not misspelled), Angela Corey, would have followed the evidence and the law so closely before attempting to persecute George Zimmerman and putting him through hell.

The Zimmerman case was so clear cut - no reason at all to hold him.

I remember watching the prosecution's opening arguments and thinking (as a J.D. myself) that it sounded more like an opening for the defense. The case was that weak.

One of the more striking pieces of evidence was one of the detectives recounting an interview he had with Zimmerman. He got George's story, then told him they'd be able to "verify" his story because there was a camera that captured the entire incident. In fact, there WAS a camera, but it wasn't operational. Of course, Zimmerman didn't know that.

The detective said most people on learning that there's VIDEO of an incident they've just described, begin to mentally review everything they've said and almost always backtrack on some details of their story. Most people telling their story try to make themselves look better than they were - and feel the need to "explain" any discrepancies between their statement and the video.

Not Zimmerman. His response on learning there was video was, "GOOD! Then you're be able to see that everything I've told you is the truth!"

Trusting the Polezi-Injustice system in a devolving society is hopium. Look at Mexican "Justice" with their Cartels or Canadian NWO putz politicians, or the Nationwide Persecutions by the USSA's FIB/Illegal Coup gov of Jan 6 citizens and absolution of Antifa/BLM/democRat Bolsheviks.

Why???

Strangest case ever. Are the parents of the defendant political? I can't wrap my mind around what I am reading.

To Ariana’s family: We are so sorry for everything you had to endure by the police - being victimized a second time. What they put you through is unconscionable! I don’t know how they sleep at night! We pray for peace and justice for you!

Oh my gosh I wanted to cry when I read what the father said. Truly a sad case and absolutely heartbreaking and it's so rotten that the victims family was mistreated and the lack of justice.

Does anyone think maybe they got jnfo they havent released from the younger sibling? Its so odd, how they kept saying “we need tl take our time”. Like they didnt want to arrest him. Wondering if years later something comes out to explain this.

Wait... his "defense" is that he "accidentally" stabbed her?

Everyone associated with the case should resign or be fired.

Police these days are only interested in their ability to be domestic terrorists. They do not care about peoples lives or well being. The lead prosecutor needs to watch the video tape and make a decision on mens rea.
