“Sanctuary” concepts to the point of making sense. I.e. I’ll see your sanctuary...and raise you the table limit.... who’s bluffing now ? These are great ideas and conversations... this is what it’s going to take from Americans to not go by the way of many dead people that could not defend themselves. It takes little historical research to see past atrocities that could have been avoided by a well trained and armed population.
Hi Lee...I’ve been in and out of Florida for over 40 years. What a great state. I’m at the point in my aviation career where I’m close to hanging up the wings. I plan to retire in the next 2 years. In a nut shell..never thought I’d see the demise of the US in my lifetime. I was going to go quietly into the sunset, but I took an oath, and more importantly I have two daughters that I want to live as freely as I have.
My priorities...freedom of speech and right to bear arms.
Everything else falls into place if you maintain these two constitutional amendments.

You might ask why citizens can't do the check and still have a private sale. Because there would be no record is why.

If background checks are deemed useful then there is no reason why the Brady process cannot be opened up to any citizen who wishes to make a firearms sale. One might enquire as to why this is not already the case.

Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi are pushing these gun control bills to score political points, and they won’t have any impact on crime or criminals, don’t address America’s broken mental health system and don’t address the underlying causes of violence.
The first bill, H.R. 8, would criminalize the private transfer of firearms and targets law-abiding gun owners for persecution. It would make criminals out of law-abiding gun owners for simply loaning a firearm to a friend or some family members. This bill would not stop criminals from obtaining guns because criminals do not comply with the law. And the legislation would be unenforceable without federal gun registration.
The second bill, H.R. 1446, would allow unelected government bureaucrats to indefinitely delay firearm purchases for law-abiding Americans – depriving them of the ability to defend themselves and their families.

I am very concerned - read "terrified" - about the firearms legislation that is pending in Washington. As it now stands, the bullies in Congress are forcing unwanted legislation on Americans, and if the legislation doesn't move fast enough, there is Mr. Biden eagerly waiting to issue yet another harmful "executive order".
I believe the correct response, on a State level, is to make a declaration that our state is a Second Amendment Sanctuary and that State law enforcement will not cooperate at all with the federal government in the enforcement of unconstitutional gun control laws.

I found HR 1205 introduced in February and to my knowledge has been off the radar, has anyone seen this, it is a sanctuary state bill. If we can get the governor behind this it will pass.

Alabama House Committee Passes Bill to End Federal Gun Control Enforcement Look it up it even kills the 1968 and 1934 acts.
