Monday, in The Bulletin (a newsletter from The Trace), they published "Today, anti-ERPO Republicans and gun rights proponents falsely claim ... that the laws enable firearm confiscation without due process."
This is an inaccurate statement. With all of the state ERPO laws, due process follows confiscation. Thus the initial confiscation clearly is "without due process."
Communists commune. It’s what they do. Bloomberg, a self hating Jew if there ever was one, wouldn’t have it any other way. The worst people inthe fight against Marxism are the self hating Jews, and the muzzie pigs. One a useful idiot, the other a useless idiot.
I always admire and appreciate your writing, Lee, but I can't "like" this story. I despise everyone who has anything to do with supporting The Trace, as well as what they represent. They never stop and we never have to stop fighting against them. It gets tiresome.
Not to mention how they deliberately ignore stories embarrassing to their preferred narrative. There was a time they would pore over a "right wing" shooter's manifesto. The Nashville Covenant School shooter? Not so much.
They'll post numerous "stories" about how the US gun industry "fuels violence" abroad. But when Joe Biden exchanged a basketball player for a notorious international arms dealer, the Trash (my pet name for them) never gave it a mention. When said arms dealer was reported to be back doing his old thing, the Trash seemed very insouciant about it.
For years, they gushed about the prospect of "smart guns." When a guy at SXSW showed how they could be hacked, the Trash stayed silent about it for a good 14 months.
Most recently, the shooting death perpetrated by a former Virgina Lt. Gov has gotten some mention, but nothing about his support for gun control.
In the same way, they've never covered the Moms Demand activist who shot and killed her own children, despite all the stories they've posted about guns and domestic violence.
I didn't realize how much they paid their "editors" or that "reporter." There's a good data point underscoring these writers' financial incentive to keep feeding crap stories to the Trash, and further evidence that left-wing endeavors are little more than welfare programs for otherwise unsuccessful ideologues.
Propaganda is subversion. Conservative and liberal messaging are both majorly propaganda. The sooner we all realize this the better.
I just returned from USMC Quantico Base near DC, for those who not be familiar with it.
I took the opportunity to interview several SNCOs and Officers concerning our overall condition in America.
Many are aware of the ongoing anti-gun subversion. Their view of most issues was heavily influenced by spoon fed information from politically correct military influencers. Generally, they do not see the threats to our way of life that are discussed on this forum and others due to positional bias. I under that as a former Active Duty Marine. It’s a culturally disconnected disposition developed intentionally by certain information handlers.
We are growing further and further apart as Americans because we refuse to engage these issues directly. Our false trust in official governance is going to be disastrous for America.
I spent years traveling and teaching in this nation, warning Americans where we were headed. We have arrived. Maybe some of don’t understand that, but we knew many years ago where we were headed.
Remember, subversion is an ideological deception. Our freedoms and rights, like the right to bear arms, is only protected by you and me. Only by those ultimately, who are willing to die in the trenches. That sort of separates the sheep and the goats.
There must be a certain satisfaction in holding the ridiculous up to ridicule. You do a nice job of that, Lee.
