The whole gist of this persons experience was that the ATF and others did not want to be "inconspicuous".. This was an act of intimidation in order to get what was wanted. I don't understand why just one Firearm though answered their query.

This happened to me, it was horrific. I was just relaxing on the couch after work and my cameras alerted me out of nowhere. My son and wife were watching me being treated as if I committed a crime. I was embarrassed as neighbors watched and had no idea what to do or how to handle it in the heat of the moment. Thank you Lee, I feel a lot better and great job getting the story out there so others are aware.

IF we apply the same logic about assumption of guilt, there are MANY executive branch agencies that should expect severe intimidation from the people.

The Left has taken this too far and it shows no signs of ending well.

I didn't want to hit "like" on this story, as frankly it pissed me off. I'm not exactly Billy Badass anymore, but I'm pretty sure I would have told them to kick rocks, shut the door, and call an attorney I trust. It likely would have escalated the situation, but I'm not going to voluntarily take a knee for those stooges. That's one pill I can't swallow.

I keep a copy of a small booklet on my fireplace mantle that my dad gave me, its titled "The Constitution of The United States of America". The section titled 4th Amendment in that item would be just the thing to read aloud to them through the door.

Thanks again for the reporting Lee, so few have the courage to take a stand and talk about these things, and that's exactly how we ended up in this precarious position we find ourselves in. It's easier to just keep one's head down and and do what one is told and not question. Some of us are not so easily cowed though, and appreciate you turning the spotlight on those cockroaches. Don't stop, friend, and hold the line.

My opinion is..they identified themselves and showed proof of who they were. Unfortunately it can be embarrassing but we can all thank the Biden/Carney crew on this. Jumping on ATF and DSP is not where your anger should be directed at. They are only doing their jobs. I’m proud, legal, and support 2A.

I’m good. We will fight these unconstitutional bills that were pushed through in court and at the voters box. Let’s show them what “We The People” means!!

The problem isn't that they were all rigged up, indeed, that makes sense for their own safety and to help market their authenticity as cops and not home invaders.

The problem is that they were doing this at all.

Excellent reporting, excellent writing, Lee.

I'd like to rant and rave about how unconstitutional this is but what's the use?

The U. S. Constitution is a toothless tiger with no enforcement mechanism whatsoever. The constitution's power is predicated solely on civilized agreement among the various ruling parties that when in power they'll abide by majority decisions on constitutional interpretations of the U. S. Supreme Court.

Democrats' hatred of the U. S. Constitution goes all the way back to their hothead, mentally deranged founder, Andrew Jackson, who first blatantly snubbed the court by defying its decision on national banks. They've been the party of evil ever since.

That hatefully vicious party is now out of the closet and making no effort to hide its full evolution into the Democrat Socialist-Communist Party USA. Thanks to a stolen election, they're now lawlessly in charge and attempting a bloodless coup of traditional America -- the constitutional republic of the Founders.

The result is that lifelong gun hater and head of the LIEden crime family is ruling via executive fiat no differently than your average banana republic dictator.

They've exposed for the first time how truly fragile this constitutional republic has always been.

Assuming Republicans regain control of this madness in the next two elections, they MUST come up with reforms to prevent forever another attempted takeover of America because these scumorats will never give up. They've been working toward this attempted coup for upwards of a hundred years.

Personally, I think it will be time to revive the House Un-American Affairs Committee, pass some appropriate laws and put a few hundred of these scumbags in prison for long terms.

We could start with the Washington D. C. January 6 tyrants who have dozens of innocent Americans locked up alone in filthy cells without benefit of writs of habeas corpus.

I'd like to see Republicans codify what traditional America is all about and what it's NOT about. Then pass legislation making that the law of the land, since another constitutional amendment would be as unenforceable as all the rest.

Does that sound like a dictatorship? Maybe it does. So what?

We've got dictatorships of evil all over the planet; maybe it's time for America to invent a dictatorship of the righteous.

As an FFL I am required to submit a multiple sales form to the ATF within 24 hours of someone purchasing more than one pistol from me within a 5 business day period, and I am also required to send a copy to our local law enforcement agency, in my case the county sheriff. I don't think most people know this but you should be aware that this form includes not just your information but also the details of the firearms you purchased that goes on file with the ATF as well as local law enforcement.

Supposedly the current NDAA about to be passed in Congress grants the President authorization for actve duty US military action along with No Oversight by Congress or Judicary in these actions.

A martial law authorization.
