Lee, firstly, that's a helluva piece of writing., thank you for clarifying exactly what's going on with them (UPS). I just grabbed a couple of receivers from PSA that were shipped to my FFL via UPS the other day, and was wondering why my shipment came through unmolested. I guess it's because they are in a state of confusion on how to implement this.
I do believe this is part of a much wider issue, and a way to curtail sales of anything that they don't like. This is another tentacle of backdoor gun control that can be applied to ANYTHING AT ALL that upsets the halfwits who think that we're their subjects.
Anyways, I haven't even had my first cup of coffee, and my writing will likely improve with a jolt of caffeine. Thanks again for your hard work, it is appreciated.
Your receivers went through, most likely because they were serialized.
Companies can choose to not do business for many reasons, as long as they don't violate the right of a "protected class". Unfortunately those of us who appreciate firearms, are not protected by our ever increasingly illegitimate government.
As a citizen, I can choose who I do business with, and it will not be Big Brown.
Usually the free shipping option is via UPS, I have stopped using that option and pay for shipping instead. I would rather pay a few bucks for shipping than give my business to a company that is helping to infringe my rights, UPS is unamerican.
2. Don't ship Anything with UPS; no company that has exacted such tyrannical punishments, on shippers who've been operating under existing laws ~ because of demands by equally viscious, Fascistic senators, deserves our business!
Well, this might change how I do any shipping, but for me it is much easier to use UPS than Fed-Ex because there is a UPS Customer Center about 10 miles away, and very user friendly, whereas Fed-Ex is about 40 miles.
Considering the Senators that are pressuring the shippers I'd expect the same from Fed-Ex and others. And considering how anti-American these Senators, we can only expect them to make things more miserable for U.S.
When we do sell a firearm, I have my local FFL ship handguns mainly because it cost less to have them mail it, and if it is stolen, I've transferred it out of my name. They usually use USPS.
But the last time we shipped a long gun, a shotgun iirc, we used UPS, my brother had the required FFL, but they never asked for it, and I'm sure they knew it was a firearm in a long heavier box.

UPS' Fascist actions require:
1. Don't ship firearms or related items with UPS.
2. Don't ship Anything with UPS; no company that has exacted such tyrannical punishments, on shippers who've been operating under existing laws ~ because of demands by equally viscious, Fascistic senators, deserves our business!
