Ummm, I think I'm going to enter the contest for Best Story of the Year, by writing, "Only Democrats Should Own Guns" only then would the world be safe from violence, after all, Democrats believe in order to save democracy we have to kill it.

Great article Lee.

If the liberal journalists/propagandists and demoncrats (not misspelled) had ANY desire for honesty, instead of firearms and ammunition, they would be blaming their "Yellow Journalism" for all the deaths. After all it was the press' yellow journalism that resulted in the Spanish-American War and its tens of thousands of deaths. It was emotional yellow journalism that caused so much of the conflict and hatred against Native-Americans. How many other conflicts around the world can be traced back to so called "journalists" and their sensationalization of events? Currently, it's their yellow journalism and emotional hatred of Israel that's fueling the Anti-Semitism in America. Finally, it's their emotional sensationalization of shootings that inspire weak-minded cretins to commit heinous acts just for notoriety. (I'm not even going to get into the results of their "journalism" that took God out of our schools and main-stream society.)

No one ever blames the “Smoking Pen” for anything.

LOL!. Too true.

As the old saying goes - "The pen is mightier than the sword". Therefore, the pen is MUCH more dangerous and should be "strictly" regulated to keep it out of the hands of dangerous people (background checks, age restrictions, required training, restrictions on owning or carrying, etc . . .).

The common elements I see in nearly all of those pieces are ignorance and passion. Which leads me to the conclusion that those 'authors' were likely all trained to ignore the real world through a system of indoctrination rather than education. So much of our nation's problems today appear to have been sourced in the failure to receive a proper and valid education while still receiving degrees and certification. See our oversized federal bureaucracy for more examples.

This is very likely a lifelong impediment to being a worthwhile member of society, and now that 'Artificial Intelligence' will so easily replace those people that call themselves journalists we'll have huge numbers of people that believe they know it all and are so passionate that they're a danger to themselves and others.

"The Trace said the story provided a “highly detailed, historical look at AR-platform rifles, shedding light on how the gun industry has marketed these weapons in ways that appeal to mass shooters.”"

The spineless media is the one marketing AR rifles to mass shooters, by breathlessly exaggerating how devastatingly lethal they are compared to any other common rifle. Just as they are responsible for 33% of mass shooters by inspiring copycats, they are feeding the numbers of mass shootings committed with an AR rifle through self-fulfilling prophecy by all but insisting to the uninformed that if you want to kill people properly, you need one of these.
