I disagree that machine guns are scary, or are not subject to the 2nd Amendment protection afforded Americans for other arms. Other than that, fairly solid.

The only oops I caught was his mention of the gas piston reducing recoil.

I suppose an adjustable gas system could be described that way, although reliable function would be a higher priority than any recoil mitigation for most users. Fun fact, if you go to zero your new build and forget your long hex key for the Superlative Arms gas block, you may have a decent, if somewhat embarrassing, straight-pull bolt action rifle.

Agreed! If I feel the need to purchase an F-22 or F-35 for my defense, along with Howitzers and throwing in a few Sherman tanks, that is my unalienable RIGHT for self-defense. Remember, the Second Amendment GRANTS NO RIGHTS - the amendments are RESTRICTIONS ON THE GOVERNMENT to not infringe our God-given rights. I cringe when I hear KNOWLEDGEABLE people saying "My 2A rights...". Ugh! Until we change the language, we'll never get past the confusion and the anti-gunners will continue to push the issue...

Not exactly sure what this irrational fear of NFA weapons is, but overall not too bad. We'll see if this gets to SCOTUS at some point.
