TAKE ACTION: Pelosi's gun registration bill — H.R. 8 — headed to House floor today
Call your representative and tell them you oppose H.R. 8, which would lead to firearms registration and confiscation.
According to Gun Owners of America, Speaker Nancy Pelosi is bringing H.R.8 to the House floor today.
This is a gun registration bill, pure and simple.
The bill would outlaw private sales, require mandatory background checks for every gun purchase, and allow additional time for FBI screening of every transfer.
To be clear, the only way enforce this bill would be through nationwide registration.
And we all know what registration leads to — confiscation.
Mke sure to leave a message with your Rep. by calling the Capitol switchboard at 202-224-3121. Tell them you oppose H.R. 8.
