AWR was talking about Home Defense situations such as a breakin. The scenario you’re describing is NOT the same. Quite honestly, if you go the route you’re talking for a home invasion/breakout scenario then you’re going to have a helluva lot of explaining to do in court. AWR wasn’t talking about the apocalypse and collapse of society defense situations.

I will agree . But even better than an AR for home defense is an AR Pistol, for tight quarters.
