It's an opportunity for a president with a questionable past on protecting the Second Amendment to heal his reputation with the community by publicly recognizing and supporting this group and their policy position.
This is encouraging, but the last time we were close to something this rational, the Route 91 massacre happened. That history should not deter logical, rational action though.
As a retired metal fabricator, welder and gun nut with most of my lifetime behind me and all my conscious hours now filled with a 10 kilohertz whistle in my head to keep me company, I fully support these ear Doctors.
This is exciting news indeed regarding these pro-gun ear surgeons! Bravo for their persistence.
The biggest hurdle is getting past the ignoramuses in Congress. Disgraced Sen. Bob Menendez comes to mind when he introduced a piece of legislation wanting to outlaw all suppressors because (his reasoning, of course) the responding police wouldn't be able to 'hear' or tell where the shot came from. I guess old Bob is like a lot of other legislators who get their ideas of suppressors and firearms by watching Hollywood movies. The Dirty Harry movie Magnum Force comes to mind when one of the dirty motorcycle cops attaches a suppressor to his Colt Python revolver. Pure fiction and the ignoramuses believe it true due to their lack of knowledge of what they want to ban.
Great news perhaps there will come a day when your doc will write a prescription for a suppressor. (And it will be covered under the NRA Medicare Advantage program 😏)
This would be funny except government wants you to get a prescription for everything and Medicare Advantage is only an advantage for the systems’ swamp leviathans.

Interesting article.

Great Idea, it's about time!
