Gov. DeSantis ought to assign Andrew Warren to the Python-capture effort, deep in the Everglades. During the assignment, carrying a self-defense weapon must not be allowed. After five years, Warren could be reassigned to the job of Polisher ~ of the President's shoes.

Sorry for the salt, but it's about damned time he was sent packing. Maybe he can keep that moonbat Nikki Fried company after she gets trounced.

Trump should take a lesson from this....THIS is how you drain the swamp. Get these fascists out of positions of power, as they do NOT have our best interests at heart.

I would have preferred that Warren had been escorted out with his hands cuffed behind his back, but I am satisfied with this outcome.

Typical whiny Liberal.

Translated from liberal lawyer-man speak: 'Executive action is only OK when WE do it.' I haven't lived in FL for nearly 25 years. What would you call the odds your Senate approves the ouster?

I doubt if DeSantis did this on a whim, so he might have the support in the Senate.

But as you posted if this was a Democrat governor, and the prosecutor was a Constitutionalist, the Left would be fine with this.

Pretty good.

Just as the Nation is getting a taste of what a Demonic regime is like after the successful Trump presidency, so Florida is greatly enjoying the success of a DeSantis governorship in contrast to the sort of insanity we see in blue states all over the Country.

It's also a good model for the next president. During Trump's 1st term, he chose to not fire numerous top elements of the CIA, FBI, DOJ, military and others. I would expect a more incisive standard during Trump's second term with dead wood hitting the floor in every direction.

Oh, and follow-up, can your crazy Agricultural whackjob lady be removed? Or should the legislature simply remove her power over CCW permitting?

Big "if" these days it seems.

I've found the Florida voting system to be pretty secure.

Last time I voted, my registration was verified, my identification was verified and when I signed for my ballot, my signature was verified. The entire process was very quick and efficient. It took less than 20 minutes from the time I drove out of the parking lot. If that procedure had been uniformly followed across the Country in 2020, this would be Trump's second term.

I moved from WA to PA last summer. Good job offer. It's an improvement over the People's Republic of WA but it's not perfect.

This guy is a lunatic but the question to be answered this November is how many more like him just moved into the state? If this state goes blue there's not much left but out West.

I've been in Florida for 25+ years. DeSantis is the best thing to happen to the state in all that time. I love the fact that he's not only SAYING the right things but DOING the right things.

Lots of people are talking about him in context of the next presidential election. Personally, I hope he doesn't run, Trump wins and we get to keep DeSantis in Florida until 2028 at which point he can be president for 8 years. There are no good DemonCRAPS and too few good Republicans. DeSantis is one of the best.

DeSantis used the law to uphold the law, genius!

It's Hillsborough County. Look at the Tampa group on Reddit if you want to know how people like this joker get elected.
