A lot of good people have put a lot into creating "the one sling to rule them all," a world class 2 pt/single point rifle sling for the AR platform rifles and carbines. I have cleared out "the sling footlocker" more than once and started over with a Magpul 2 pt and Condor Viper. I like the single pt on an M4, SBR, or AR pistol for indoors work, but the Magpul 2 pt adjustable has long been my standard for battle rifles. Finding the perfect 1 for both jobs would reduce the amount of crap one has to carry, train with, purchase. And that should be a primary aspiration for any rifleman.
