The public doesn't get to see real heroism like this too often.
I want to thank Officer Velazquez for putting an end to that flawed gene pool.
And we all know what comes next: the family and some sleazy lawyers are going
to play what has become known as "The Ghetto Lottery" and sue the city.
Unfortunately as history has shown, gutless politicians will make them multi-millionaires.
I propose that the case go before a jury. And if the tax payers are lucky, they might get
a jury like the one in a similar case in St Lucie County, FL several years ago, which awarded
the family $4.00: $1.00 to the mother for funeral expenses and $1.00 to each of his children.
Google " Jury awards 4 dollars". That decision has been appealed as they are trying to
find/buy some judges to overturn it.
On the off chance -
Thanks man, be well.
Bryan, you did the job you were hired to do, protect and serve. Thank you sir, and tell the naysayers I said go to hell!
Well presented observation of this officer and the circumstances. My hat’s off to the men and women in blue risking their lives to serve and protect.
