It is not just in 2 weeks. That is where it starts from here. It will be a struggle the rest of our time here on earth.

All Americans, not just gun owners, should take note. Certain politicians would love to do this and worse.

Exactly. It's only a matter of time.

Yep, and all the time Harris is telling us that violent crime rates are going down. https://www.shorenewsnetwork.com/2024/10/17/fbi-reveals-violent-crime-up-4-5-across-american-in-2024/

Open borders and lowering violent crime rates do not make sense. There is not a โ€˜does not equal signโ€™ on my keyboard or I would be using it. Guns in the hands of responsible citizens is always the answer to lowering violent crime rates. Harris must think we all are exceptionally stupid. https://www.thecentersquare.com/national/article_7813aeb6-8c1e-11ef-8a91-8bb18d90b9ff.html

or Cowardly...... which could prove to be the most ill informed assumption of democRats.

They/Them "think" that our prudent use of restraint/force is compliance to Their/Thems' Tyranny.

We are not playing games with these progreSSives. They will need to pray for mercy because once unleashed the dogs of war aren't easily put back on the leash.

I am quite a peaceful fellow, btw.

Just wait for leftist judges to make "Well regulated militia" to work in the same way as "fit and proper person." I can hear the argument now. "Your honor, well regulated includes making sure an individual does not pose a threat to themselves or others." All this takes is for the Supreme Court to shift just two more seats...

That's what I fear too.

Great article Mr. Williams. I found the Australian gun buyback of 700,000 interestingโ€ฆ. I believe we here in America buy more than that on a monthly basis. Thank you for doing what you do!

"Why" there is even a 2nd Amendment IS the Inherent Liberty that most people seek to Avoid. This is understandable as it is a road once commenced has only two conclusions : "Liberty or Death"

Was that just a "motto" from the Revolution of 1775 or a statement of Truth? ..... that each man must answer for himself.

Voting is certainly preferable, but is No Panacea in itself, or a suitable substitute when faced with Evil which is Tyranny of the Soul, Mind, & Body.

The Tree of Liberty has a high price tag that ironically Gets Paid sooner or later, for better or worse.

Read The Founders' Words as they faced the same travails and their struggles to avoid war as well as conclusions that it was unavoidable. Then choose your destiny.

NZ is ruled by a tyrannical government, no doubt. Our government (enslavement) is moving daily towards Marxist, fascist suppression of our liberty and rights. It is exactly for times such as this that the Founding Father's affirmed our God given right to keep and bear arms, the Second Amendment. We have the numbers (about 1 million gun owners and nearly 1 billion firearms) to prevent the confiscation of our property. The upcoming election would be a good time to flex our muscle-- VOTE for Trump. Yes, I know he is not the perfect protector of our gun rights, but it is a step in the right direction. The alternative is unthinkable. Be prepared, stay vigilant. Remember that liberty lost is seldom regained.

An interesting thought: We have multiple millions of guns in private hands, and a large number of them can not be traced to any individual. And then there are the criminals with their "illegal" guns.

Does .gov still think they are going to confiscate all of them? How cute.

This might be being naive, but I really, really hope that these 62, and others like them, will not be able to surrender their guns because they have lost them and can't possibly find them even though they've looked EVERYWHERE, officer. This is of course the first step of many but the choice is either that or the obvious.
