This seems ripe for a legal challenge; especially in a post-Bruen courtroom setting. The problem is that the law is clearly unconstitutional on its face, yet the legislators passed it anyway.

To them, the constitution means nothing. There are no penalties for enacting laws which violate it's core provisions. Until there are enforceable penalties for passing such legislation, we will continue to suffer the death of 1000 cuts.

Remember this, and that is gun owners have to finance both sides of any litigation, because THEY use tax plunder to defend against any lawsuits, and gun owners have to support the gun groups that challenge such legislation.

We pay twice.

Exactly!

Our taxes pay for the attorneys who are fighting AGAINST our constitutional rights. Then either an individual or second amendment rights organization (which would be also funded by "We the People") has to pay to reclaim those rights.

It's lawfare; pure and simple.

The day of reckoning is coming soon. The sooner the better. I just hope I live to see it. I have been a hunter, sport shooter and a gun owner for almost 70 years. Never seen anything like this. Like Heston said, from my cold dead hands!

IMO, it appears that the NY State Police is collecting identical personal info like the 4473 captures.

This can't be good; and then one can't have one's info removed if one decides not to purchase ammo due to abnormal delays. This stinks to high Heaven. I smell a Kathy Hochul behind all of this.

You are correct, sir. Hochul signed the bill into law.

Sorry New York but you could have elected Lee Zeldin.

I have several longtime friends who live in NY. All voted democrat and think I'm living in the Stone Age because I refuse to go progressive. Over the last few days they refuse to address this issue. All I said was, "See, elections have consequences, and I'm going to the range to burn through 500 rounds". Seems their sense of humor has diminished somewhat.
