OK, so I'm not a troll, I'm not a Gannet shill, I'm just a guy show likes guns and shooting who found your site. But I'm genuinely confused by all this.
How did Gannett have access to your site to be able to delete it? If it was your content, controlled and owned by you, why didn't you have backups? I have a little blog that gets maybe 75 hits a day and has perhaps 2 or three regular readers, but I still back it up weekly. That's pretty standard procedure for any electronic media.
Even until the day you were fired the site was owned by Gannett/GateHouse Media and was never yours. They paid your salary, as well as everyone that was ever listed on the Team TGW page. They paid the hosting fees and the marketing budget to keep it running. Almost all of the content that was on the site came from Gannett resources. For someone that listed themself as a senior investigative reporter, it doesn't look like you did much research on IP and copyright laws.
Whomever you are, this may work in some forums for you and whatever other accounts you may have(definition of a troll), but in this case all of us here no Lee either personally or through his years of writing. We trust him on this and many other subjects. You lose and will continue to do so. That said all if not most of us here will continue to report your fake accounts. Yes you can create more but that cycle I described will continue. You can do more harm elsewhere. Thanks Lee keep up the great work.
