These are the same people that thought we were trying to overthrow the government because an unarmed group of people wandered around a public building for an hour and then stole a podium.

Funny how they don't mention the rebellion of 1775-81. Back then, the government was also hell-bent on confiscating guns and disarming its citizens.

Pretty sure they forgot about that.

IMO they have conflated correctly. The Right To Bear Arms is intended to be in opposition to tyranny. That tyranny is real, it's active, it's what we call "government."

So no new facts just new spin from the same old players.

Ah yes, let’s get rid of guns because we all long for the days of rampant oppression when differences of opinion or disputes were settled by mobs armed with knives, clubs, baseball bats or machetes and tribes or gangs dictated the rule of law and what or how you will think and act. How did that go in 1924 Russia or 1933 Germany? An armed citizenry is what keeps Government in check. THE CONSTITUTION, FRUSTRATING LIBERALS SINCE 1789. And Thank God for that!

Sounds like what someone who wants to do something they'd rightly get shot over would say.

"We want to do Tyranny but we're scared of the consequences."

Thankfully, we are not a democracy. Regardless, insurrection is part of democracy. Always has been.

So this hog slop report is worried about a growing presence of firearms in political spaces? Where are these political spaces? Maybe it the empty spaces between the ears of the authors of this report?

Then they think Jan6 was because of political losses to justify violence. That sentence reminds me of one in one of our most sacred documents- But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty to throw off such Government... Maybe these 3 anti-gun authors should reflect on that and the causes of Jan6.

Jan6 never would have happened without Jan12 2017 and 2020's summer of love setting the stage. Political violence without consequence, unless you're on the wrong team.

Totally biased information. More propaganda from our countries capital. The illegal insurrectionists are planted in the Whitehouse now.
