I assume that at some point it is the plan to use the military domestically to disarm the American people so the weaker the military becomes, the better for us. We aren't going to get invaded by China or Russia but we might find ourselves under martial law.
Our military is not what it was. This will likely cost us dearly someday. Why militias and "garage weapon development" holds such promise.
The United States has NEVER extracted value from a professional military. This isn't new. What's different is that everyone is now so "in your face" demonstrating that the military is just a federal jobs program. Pretty worthless.
It would be a good thing if some of that underutilized military tech taxpayers paid for were to leak to into the open weapons community. Might be our only hope someday.
Draft dodgers who take up arms to form independent armies are worthy of your respect. These people aren't overpaid mercenaries - and they will fight. Try to make that claim with our current military.
