I am in Naples and wouldnt give up my AR for anything politicians can promise. Amazing to see everyone come together to help each other.

Yeah, I am very grateful that Ian went South, but equally mindful: there but for the grace of God go I. I broke my foot right after oral surgery about a week before Ian became a hurricane. We had a little tree damage, lost a large clay flower pot, and couple other very...very...minor things. But I can't run down there myself and do anything other than get in the way with this foot. So we have done some comms and coordinating, checking on people we know, and made a couple of donations where we KNOW they will be used properly. It's ugly. We were all on the verge of bugging out for inland GA when Ian took that right turn. I had begun loading the SUV and stowed my pickup truck on the highest ground possible. I've ridden out hurricanes before, but not a huge Cat 4-5 like Ian; and definitely not with a 4 yr old daughter and a broken foot. No sir! Glad you and yours are okay.
