This reminds me of how other organized crime rackets operated in the past. But our government eventually protected us from them by putting them in prison, not paying them off.

Great work by you Lee and Team. This makes me wonder what else they are doing illegaly and getting away with.

Threatened by a lunatic, robbed by law enforcement, our "victim" clearly met a very bad day -- one he probably didn't see coming.

Theft of his pricey ammo was bad enough, but what gave these jackbooted thugs in this grease spot on the road out of mainland Florida the idea they could confiscate a licensed-to-carry citizen's gun simply because he was OBVIOUSLY defending himself?

What the hell did he do to be deprived of his means of self-defense for an absurd 68 days -- or a SINGLE DAY, for that matter?

Yet again ad nauseum, law enforcement proves it is little more than a band of bullies who frequently abuses its power. Those thugs -- ALL of them top to bottom -- should be legislated onto a TIGHT choker-chain leash with severe monetary and jail penalties when they abuse citizens, as they clearly did in this case.

Stop thinking cops are your friends. They seldom are. Police are not now nor have ever been anything more than a necessary evil. It's long past time for the long blue line to be tightly tethered on a short chain leash.

It’s appalling and horrifying how little most law enforcement officers know about the actual laws. I had a fat, old deputy who could hardly get out of his car threatened to get his “AR” out of his vehicle because I was target shooting with my son in my back yard with a .22. Completely legal. Now I was obviously armed. What did he figure I would do if he waddled his fat ass over to his trunk to get his AR and pointed it at me and my son? He then tried to lecture me on firearm safety. I was an infantryman in a war, I’m pretty familiar. Just a complete douche. But I’m sure if I had to defend myself I would have been the crazy combat vet.

Many people are so fearful of crime that they "reflexively" "Back the Blue". Reason and Discernment requires a case by case analysis, but "whan a train of abuses" is evident then a Presumption of "Police Abuse" is not unwarranted.

We are Clearly facing Feral Gov Polezi Abuse from the Jan 6 Abuses of the FIB, to the Quisling "Door Men" of the Border Patrol, and the ATF, IRS, need no explanations.

This "Mindset" when condoned seeps down to their Junior Partners in State, County, and Local LE.

IMO, There are Liberty 2A Police Exceptions, but "the Rule" is more focused on tyranny for honest citizens, and ignoring criminal conduct from Illegals, Cartels, and other Gov Agencies.

Just ask yourself, Do you "feel comfortable" in dealing with police??? (Assuming you aren't doing anything illegal) Defense Lawyers advise Say Nothing, Refuse Searches, Beware.

Most police interactions for You/Me/We are Minor Traffic Infractions-"Fishing" for Revenue Enhancement. Just a Fact of Life.

Please tell me I'm wrong, I wish it wasn't so.
