The FBI really does need to focus on actual law enforcement and take actual harmful criminal s of the street instead of persecuting people for imaginary, cosmetic, bureaucratic infractions. While I agree that prison for this is not justice and I do agree that this was a setup. If you're going to take the chance and modify a pistol into a SBR you do not tell anyone, you do not show it to anyone, and better yet don't do it in the first place, it's not worth it.
The ATF's appetite for criminals far exceeds the available supply so they look for random dudes to arrest to pad their stats. I guess it is easier than going into the urban warzones where actual gun crimes are committed by actual criminals.

The "Interaction" of local and state polezi with Ferals is problematic. Orange County Sheriff is probably ProgreSSive as Orange County is majority democRat, correct? (Pinellas County has a rinoRat ProgreSSive Sheriff so it's not limited to one party.)
If Fl Legislature Opts Out of the "Safe Communities" the FIB will have a terrorism incident to blame on the Legislature so the Unification of Polezi under a Feral Gov. umbrella is accomplished.

Federal law enforcement HAS to have some employees that are actually performing the intent of their jobs, don't they? I wish they'd get more air time / press coverage. Their fellow team members are a REAL downer for the country.
I know it's a dangerous job and sometimes they just need to have time off, but geez, don't screw your fellow citizens because you don't want to put some real work into the job.
