I think he should feel lucky to not serve jail time, but I feel there is some responsibility that Punta Gorda PD has not taken yet. Imagine if that was your grandmother. This situation should never have occurred. Even if it is a mistake people should be held accountable so it never happens again.
Can't tell the difference between wadcutters and blanks? He doesn't have common sense enough to be in charge of anything more complex than a dish towel, much less an officer of the court. That his probationary status keeps him from becoming a lawyer is a blessing to society. The record of his misfeasance must NEVER be expunged and NEVER forgotten!
