Best Life Guns is another scammer! Lots of red flags on their site... their prices and availability seem too good to be true ( probably are )! The physical address they list for their "store" is a Home Depot Store on Biscayne Blvd. in North Miami Florida. Their mission statement appears to be a copy of Midway USA...(they even included Larry Potterfield's name)! Their english grammer is questionable and their payment/shipping info is very sketchy as well. The man supposedly named Martin wouldn't respond via their online chat when I asked for a contact number so I could speak directly with a customer service rep. There is very little info to support their legitimacy online but there are scam alerts pertaining to them online. Save your money and STAY AWAY FROM THEM!

My background is in fraud investigation so I have built a website to document these scams and try to link them together.

So far I have seen that a lot of them are coming out of Cameroon in West Africa

The site I built is here: https://gunscams.com (not finished yet but still working on it.

For Bill and others... I was able to finally locate some FN 502s in Houston at Collectors Firearm's. Their website showed they had black in stock and after a quick email they confirmed it. Luckily I was heading to Houston anyways so I stopped in and they pulled a FDE 502 from the back. I'm not sure if they have anymore in FDE but they did have more black as of the 8th. They're website and staff are great (REAL) and they do offer free shipping to your local FFL dealer. Better yet, i picked it up for less than MSRP with military discount. I highly recommend them!

I literally was about to do the same thing. I have Carl in a chat right now saying they had 4 FN 502s in stock but when I asked for their FFL to share with my local dealer they gave me the same yahoo mail above. So I did a quick google search of the website and came across this article and I'm soooo glad I did. I probably wouldn't have purchased unless I could use a credit card but I would have wasted a lot of time. Thanks for this write up!

Happy to help. You made my day, brother!

Happened to me twice this year. It appears scammers are using identities of defunct businesses. Have no idea how they acquire the rather complete images they use on their website.

I was lucky. Didn't lose anything. Other buyers before me were not so lucky (according to BBB complaint system).

They also asked for Zelle.

Another dead giveaway is they do not accept credit cards - only payments like Zelle, Venmo, PayPal and even BitCoin. I have been searching for reloading supplies and there are a lot of scammers out there. Here is another website to add to the scam list:

https://gunnershouse.com/

We should all start adding to a centralized scam list somewhere.

My brother asked me the other day about Zelle, and I told him it is similar to PayPal, but you use your bank account with your phone or email. I have Zelle set up but find it is more trouble than it is worth.

I asked him why and he mentioned a web site that had primers, so I asked him what site. The next morning, I looked and found USA Reloading and sure enough they had primers listed. So, I snoop around their site and the payment options were Zelle, Crypto, etc. and some goofy way to make payment.

Then I close out and do a search for USA Reloading and the first option in the link window was "USA Reloading scam". Hmm. Okay and that brought me to a gun forum where the question was asked; "Is USA Reloading a scam, etc., etc.?"

I had already figured out that it must be a scam because none of the usual trustworthy sources like Brownell's, Graf and Sons, Powder Valley have primers and when they do they sell out almost instantly.

The prices and shipping where a giveaway too as in no HazMat fee and no matter who much you put in your cart it was the same amount.

Caveat Emptor.

I had the same thing happen to me with an ammunition vender. Bulk Ammunition Shop

I thought the following was too good to be true and it was: 500rds of Federal Premium TSS Heavyweight Turkey 20 Gauge Shotshells - $210

We all know that stuff sells for $50 a box. Lucky for me I never sent payment.

Thanks for the article.
