Another great article, Lee. Agreed that Chipman is a pox upon our constitutional rights. I hope and expect him to disappear into the ether soon. Beyond that, your listing of many of the subcultures in the firearms world highlighted the broad range of included interests and that they are not mutually exclusive. My safe houses Glocks and 1911's, AR's and Garands, revolvers and semi-auto's. The only limitation for me, and I'm sure most others, is the budget. And even though each group likes to poke fun at the others, I suspect there is a great degree of unity out there even without a threat like Chipman. It was good to see some backbone in the Senate with all the lunacy going on inside the beltway.
Very well said Lee, I to am hopeful the unity will accomplish more in the future for our community. Like I have learned in the past few months don’t give up anything. I don’t need a bump stock but I will fight for it, a ban on them is only a foot in the door that needs to be stopped because it will affect us all down the road.
