Regrettably I have had this feeling for a couple of years. I hate no one (well almost no one) and I hope the best for his health (not his politics) but this is not just embarrassing for our country but scary as to what would/could happen if there is a major domestic or international issue that requires a President with full faculties. And yes I am concerned on how unelected people can run this country. This makes for a great movie story line but scares the hell out of me in real life. SMH

I totally agree, Jerry.

Lee, I totally agree. The scary part is who really is in charge. POTUS doesn't seem competent to tie his own shoes. So, who is calling the shots? Whomever it is didn't steal the election in his own name. God help us!

Scary as hell! Yeah - I watched one of his campaign videos, and he *almost* won me over with his warmth and "good guy" demeanor. Now his actions are almost identical to a neighbor I had with advanced Alzheimer's: mumbling, bursts of violence, overall dementia...

We are *so* screwed.

This is exactly why I do not believe the election results.

The scariest part of all of this is Kamala, but I doubt if Dr. Jill is going to pack up and leave for her.

Exactly. Kamala deserves to be President like Elvis deserved his Black Belt.

Lee -- I covered Joe for years. He's slower but it's till Joe imho. I've watched with amusement as his opponents and critics say Joe is over the hill. You don't win the Democratic primary against a tough field with staff running the show. He's a moderate-conservative with some good ideas and not so good ideas. I don't think one wins points against Trump by saying he's crazy. I don't think you win pints against Joe by saying he's addled.

But he is addled. It’s obvious to anyone who isn’t a sycophant. It’s Ali obvious that he is far from “moderate-conservative.”

He’s old. There’s a difference. I can disagree with you without being a sycophant. I can like Biden without agreeing with him on everything. I can see the good things Trump did without liking him.

Right on, Lee. Did you see the part where that moron told us to inject bleach into our bodies!? Oh, wait…

Expand full comment

Except that he never said to inject bleach! I’m wouldn’t call someone a moron who managed to accumulate a few billion dollars. Dementia Joe barely ever had a job in the private sector. He’s a swamp rat.

Wow. Is it not Presidential to make a joke anymore?

Point taken, Edward. I watched the live press conference and did not understand the bleach comment to be meant as a joke. If it was, I stand corrected

Likewise, I think that Biden‘s recent comment is open to interpretation. I heard the statement to mean that if one were to attempt to overtake a tyrannical US government, he should plan to use more powerful weapons than AR15’s against the likes of the US military.

Wow. Putting Washington people underground? I think maybe I’m done commenting here.
