Disagree that they learned nothing. They learned they can blatantly lie over and over without consequences.

At this point, I support a complete dismantling of most Federal LE agencies. We are learning many of them are nothing more than the paramilitary arm of the Democratic Party, just as the SS was the paramilitary arm of the NSDAP.

This is exactly why the government went after the oath keepers so hard. It’s hard to believe how few in law enforcement will just “do what they’re told” without any thought of the law or right and wrong. The only thing that’s going to check this is consequence.

Yea sorry “how many”.

You mean "how many officers just do what they're told without any thought of their oath to the constitution or right and wrong"?

After all - they're NOT resisting enforcement of these laws *UNLESS* police are not exempted from those laws.

Are they still operating under the idea that treating us like the famous recipe for boiling a frog is going to wind up in their favor?

It's this kind of action that convinces people to revert back to the original meaning of the 2nd amendment, where 'arms' is just what it says and not just radical thinkers will put it into practice.

ABOLISH ATF

I'm afraid the law of unintended consequences will arise in the manner of a Henry Bowman.

Furthermore, we must reflect on Alexander Solzhenitsyn's famous quote from 'The GULAG Archipelago' about how they could have made a difference if they had not just sat in their homes scared of the knock on the door, but chose to react because they had nothing left to lose.

Chose NOT to act because they were scared.

"If...if...We didn't love freedom enough. And even more – we had no awareness of the real situation.... We purely and simply deserved everything that happened afterward.”

I hadn't heard of the story of H Bowman before. Thanks for bringing that up. From the description, it could make one heckuva movie - if it weren't for Hollyweird's tendencies.

Mike, if you can find a copy of the book I mentioned it's a great read. The book is hard to find and if you do, it's very pricey. IMHO, well worth the money to obtain a copy to read and keep on the shelf. I think I've read my copy at least 3 times; very thought provoking.

ABOLISH the tyrannical unelected ATF bureaucracy

The ATF along with other alphabet soup federal agencies have actually learned quite a bit from their high handed raids and excessive use of force up to and including deadly force. They have learned that they can do just about anything to a human being they wish and get by with it. Their victims have been advised that "We can do anything we want to you and there's nothing you can do about it." Their "agents" and federal lawyers have been known to tell people that, "We work for the government and we do not have to answer to the public." I've heard that from too many federal incarcerated inmates doing time and/or waiting for sentencing on "Conspiracy to commit" charges. "Conspiracy to commit", that's what is charged when the feds do not have a case and can coerce a person into committing courtroom perjury by pleading "guilty" to an offense he/she did not commit. If you do not believe me, go to any prison or jail and talk with federal inmates who are incarcerated on Conspiracy to commit charges. Ask them why they pled out to a charge they did not commit. I guarantee that you will hear pretty much verbatim what I posted above. Woody W Woodward [W3]

I'll have to pass on this one. Operation Warp Speed? Most firearms prosecutions in American history? Red flag law support? Bump stock bans?

Come on dude. Pay attention.

Much can be attributed to a Feral out of control Bureacrazy. But Your points are Valid, especially the lack of Taking Responsibility for "Even" a failure to prevent or curtail Feral gov Abuses.

My gut feeling is that most Americans are waiting and hoping for a voting solution in 2024........ We may not get that "choice" as 2023 has not concluded.

And Trump seems to have the same Enemies I do, so there is that; and I see no one else able to win or capable of destroying his (& my) enemies.

CW's are messy affairs.
