Where was the ATF when Hunter Biden picked up his gun? So typical of law enforcement, they are no where to be found when you need them. From the President down, federal employees no longer abide by the Constitution, Bill of Rights or code of laws. There is a definite lack of respect for the taxpayers who pay their undeserved salaries. Destruction of the "Deep Swamp" is long overdue. A good starting point would be any agency with the ability to restrict or destroy our constitutionally guaranteed rights.

The In-House Memo to all ATF personnel is, when something seems off to you, err on the side of infringing on that person's second amendment rights, because upper management will have your back. Fear not and go forth to strike fear in the hearts of the pro-gun peons.

.

And now, I'll put my tinfoil hat back on.

did he ever get his gun?

Trump has said is first action will be to secure the border. second action should be to secure the rights of the productive law abiding citizens. disband ATF and break up Homeland Security to start.

I keep forgetting, what's the name of the Federal agency that's supposed to 'protect communities from violent journalists, criminal organizations, the illegal use and trafficking of misinformation." ? The one that's supposed to enforce the laws regarding the 1st Amendment.

It feels like there's a real quandary here. Should the BATFE or the IRS be disbanded first? Oh, wait. I know - there isn't anything that says we shouldn't disband them both retroactively, is there?

My first thought after reading this, is you have an uneducated, unauthorized IOI rep, with a God Syndrome, which seems to be the norm with any department under Biden. In any case, like every three letter government agency, they are all corrupt and need to be dissolved. Those at the top should be prosecuted. Daniel passed his background check and nothing should have prevented him from purchasing a gun. Obviously this IOI guy didn't have authority to stop the sale. What recourse does Daniel have, and does Florida have any law that would allow his right to purchase and possess that firearm?

IOIs have even less legal authority than DEA Diversion Investigators. The IOI should have called for an agent if he suspected Daniel was under the influence.

That said, during my brief foray in the gun business, my employer instructed us to decline a sale if we suspected a customer was under the influence. I was once a court -certified DRE and I never encountered anyone at the gun counter who I suspected of being high. It's not like I live in New York City or anything.
