We must fight this tooth and nail! Praying that this does not get 60 votes in the Senate - which it shouldn't unless they find 10 Mittens (Mitt Romney) to go along with it. Keep some powder dry!

Did you know, if you put a frog in boiling hot water it will jump out? If you take the same frog and put it in lukewarm water while gradually increasing the temperature, it will eventually boil to death.

For the past 20+ years, we are being boiled to death.

-1994 Federal "Verb" Weapons Ban

- Brady Bill

- Bump Stocks

- HR8 Universal Gun Registration and Confiscation, I mean "Universal Background Checks"

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing repeatedly expecting a different result. A certain political party believes if they keep enacting the same policies regarding the 2nd Amendment, they will find a different result. What does that say about their mental health?

And where, if I might be so bold, is our Second Amendment Sanctuary bill?

Question: will that "universal background check" apply to new purchases, or are we all going to get checked? As for the internet sales of guns, WTF? I can't buy from anyone that's not an FFL, and as Lee said, it has to go to an FFL.

I don't want to be Debby Downer, but we've seen the politicos cave at every turn ("Uh, yeah, the election was fixed. We'll need to do better next time."; "There was no evidence of widespread fraud." [that's because it was localized in only the few swing states, ya stupid bastard!!]; "SCOTUS has decides not to hear the case".).

Since stocking up on ammo isn't an option (I don't/can't/won't pay 10x the cost per cartridge), so I guess I'll stock up on whiskey. Currently a Rye man, so I'll leave the rum for you, Lee.

LOL! Thanks for the rum, Tex, although lately I've been drinking more than my share of Bourbon.

Many years ago, I drank waaaaay too much bourbon in one sitting. As a result, it's not at the top of my lobotomy list. :D

So next thing is a lawsuit and that will put a hold on it until the SCOTUS makes a decision, that of course is if Biden signs it.

Biden will definitely sign it. My problem with the SCOTUS solution is that it takes too much time and money -- and it's always our money.

It's *always* our money. May as well spend it on something useful than giving it to Iran.

As Darrin points out it’s got to clear the senate next. This may be where the filibuster may come into play.

An it is much more difficult to over turn a law than prevent from the beginning.
