Given dietary and time restrictions, I don’t have much of an appetite for fiction. However, I read the John Ross book, “Unintended Consequences,” in the predictive reality genre of Matt Bracken (who later became a masterful craftsman of such, having actually nailed a number of real world scenarios over many books and many years).

Unintended Consequences is the seminal reason you read this blog. It is a sobering reminder of everything we’ve lost in the name of “common sense.”

I would beg to differ on the point you made that they misread the room. I dont feel they misread it, the read it and didnt care, thinking that the more they repeat their tired points they could brainwash people into believing them. But otherwise spot on and I dont look a gift horse in the mouth. Glad to get some wins.

Reminds me of a line from a movie: "The more you tighten your grip, Xiden, the more reality will slip through your fingers."

or something like that.
