Lee, you openly defended Rep. Cord Byrd for doing exactly. HE KILLED CONSTITUTIONAL CARRY along with other pro-gun bills.

One thing I do remember is that back when the "shall issue permit" legislation was passed we had some Bozo gun owners do more harm than good by parading up and down main streets like Hollywood Blvd with their handguns on, "Look at me, look at me." And within days open carry was repealed.
Open carry sounds so good and it is, but we've all seen the pictures of dummies carrying gun where it is obviously inappropriate.

I'm again reminded of one of the troubling characteristics of the GOP. When the time comes to all pull together, the party splinters into special interest groups and snatches defeat from the jaws of victory.
While I totally agree with not only the letter but it's sentiment, we've got bigger fish to fry right now.
Make public the names of the so called “Leadership “ who are keeping these bills out of committee.
