When a federal government agency changes its policies or introduces new ones, it's always to achieve an objective of control and intimidation of The People. In this case, the ATF already had a stranglehold on FFLs.........which they could increase or decrease the pressure of for just about any reason they wanted. So for them to implement an escalation of control, it has to be for a very specific reason, which I would argue is not any of the obvious reasons already apparent to the second amendment community.
I assert that the objective now, today, in the Obama-Biden administration is to set a precedent for something so big, so overreaching, that none of us would even believe it could be realistic, even given the current state of the nation. Allow me to put on my tinfoil hat, here........ok, all set,......something will occur which postpones the presidential election next year, which the leftist mind then rationalizes that all sales of firearms and ammo must be also postponed, in order to manage whatever crisis provided legal justification to postpone the election.
This administration has already made it clear that the 'second amendment citizens' of the nation are "Dangerous People" who are the terrorist that threaten "Our Democracy", and what better way to bring national focus on us than to create a crisis that exploits us......directly.
By the way, aluminum foil doesn't work, it must be tinfoil. What? You didn't stop up?
All guns are paper weights without ammo. Yet even now after two ammo "shortages" since the arrival of the "O" in 2008, too many good citizens think a couple of boxes is "just fine".
