Someone please explain to me that if being a prohibited person and such person having a firearm is a federal offense, how come ATF is not prosecuting repeat offenders on gun possession charges.
Thanks for your voice. I am retired. I do a little gunsmithing in rural South Carolina. It’s something I used to enjoy. But I am working toward divesting of my FFL. There is no upside to having a small-time business with so much exposure. Those books. My lousy handwriting. Daily distractions. The current administration projects so much bad intent onto us. Yet everyone of us loves the 2A. It was a motivator. Something to share. Now, I feel like an old man with a target on his back. Nobody wants to risk their freedom and lose sleep because a 300 BO pistol kit is sitting ignored in the corner and a couple of Anderson lowers similarly neglected in a crate a lockbox. It was just ‘stuff’ I had accumulated. I didn’t want to deal with NFA, but here we are. Time to get the Trust (“amnesty” individual is not a solution for estate planning). And Silencerco will set one up... if I buy a suppressor. Talk about unintended consequences. Millions going to start NFA Trusts. And transform their goofy braced AR pistols into properly configured... and now... suppressed short-barreled rifles.

Because they are really more concerned with disarming threats to their power structure, they don’t give a damn about criminals.
They should not just be defunded for 2024 but forever. I mean really what do they do except take credit for other law enforcements investigations.
I think it's high time to abolish the ATF altogether and not have to worry about them anymore. Save our country a few bucks.
Why is Hunter Biden not behind bars for lying on the 4473 form?
So what you’re saying is that they’re a typical governmental agency...

Thanks for reading, Howard.
