Almost a decade ago, the State School Board in Oregon allowed local school boards to decide whether their staff could be armed. Many, mostly rural, have done so. More should, IMO.

What an inspiring story. Notice that the school has not - to my knowledge - been covered by our left leaning media especially for anything negative such as student access to weapons, injuries or accidental discharges in the class room. There is nothing to see here other than protected children. Bravo!!
