We live in a state that is currently free, but the legislature is attempting to end that every year. Complacency in your government will be as harmful to your rights as complacency in your personal safety preparation could be to your life. I was born and raised in Washington state; with a couple of exceptions (asinine "rounds per minute" test to determine machine gun status) it had very minimal gun laws until a decade ago. Now its restrictions are as bad as California's and in a few cases, worse.
Oregon is not far behind Washington in anti-2A legislation, and they are currently working hard to catch up. In addition to anti-2A, the Oregon economy is in shambles and the state legislature is, among other things, attempting to pass a number of tax bills without voter consent. Fortunately, it appears we starting to have a lot of citizens on both sides that are waking up to the fact that single party control has all but ruined this state.
Even in red states like Utah we have people moving here from blue states who are leftists. I fear for the future of our republic. If you haven't read Kurt Schlicter's books, The Attack and the Second American Civil War, I highly recommend them for a glimpse of what I fear will be our future.
Blue State politicritters, Progressive Elites all, live in a existential existence that is a weird mix of Socialism, Victimhood and Obedience to Superior Human Intelligence. They believe that it is how we all want to live.

Washington state is actually two different states, the West coast and Eastern Washington which has many Conservatives and Vets. I expect the terror will be on the West side in highly populated Seattle, Tacoma and Olympia, where they overwhelm us in voting. Eastern Washington is ready. West side, sucks to be you!

I've been to both sides of WA. The Eastern side is more to my liking socially/politically. The Western side has more interesting landscape and geography.
I spoke with my counterpart who was the former Intelligence Liaison at our BP station here in eastern WA this weekend.
There are at minimum 500 cells/sleeper cells in the US. I have personally tracked and observed many suspicious activities of Islamic groups coming over the Canadian border.
Otherwise, you can’t attack another nation today without expecting some retaliation. Especially without provocation. No matter where we individually stand on the matter, we will all suffer the consequences.
Beware of fast growing Muslim communities in red state such as Texas and Florida. Many of the illegals were bussed/flown into red states by Biden. They are developing Sharia-based autonomous communities. Whole cities and towns are being taken over by Muslims-- Minnesota, New Jersey for example.
I've been saying for some time that the single minded focus on the 2A is both the greatest strength of the gun rights community and the greatest weakness. With demographic displacement and mass migration we are looking at a real threat to the 2nd Amendment in the very near future, in essence we have won a lot of battles recently while losing the war.
I live in a red state with acceptable, minimally intrusive, common sense gun laws and i am on my knees begging people who live in blue cities or states… please stay where you are and please stay the fuck out of my state. We have more than enough escapees from California, New York, and other Democrat-run shitholes and seemingly more every day. You’ll move here but your liberal leftist ideologies will come with you. In case any readers aren't aware, the Muslim "bible", Quran, along with other writings teach Muslims to kill those that don't believe as they do. So, what do our presidents and Congress do? They let Muslims, sworn to eliminate us, from third world countries in. Was that an ignorant mistake? I don't think so. Our government cares not for our safety. The majority libs in blue states, you made your choices, now, live (or die) with them. We don't need or want you in our relatively free red states. We have enough problems hanging on to our liberty and freedom without you. As it is, there are way too many rules, regulations and laws restricting our rights as free Americans, especially as concerns the Second Amendment. There are far too many exclusionary (gun-free) ones for us to adequately defend ourselves. Usually if you need law enforcement they are minutes away.
So, let's make sure that we can defend ourselves, our families and our friends if the need arises (and it is more than likely). Hound your legislators to repeal anti-gun laws and regulations. The Second Amendment says our right to keep and bear arms "shall not be infringed".
