This ATF agent is a disgrace and needs to be held publicly accountable, and used as a "don't be this guy" example for a long , long time. I'm grateful to Lee for keeping this sailor's story in the public forum.

This so sad. Is the case on appeal?

Yes, but an appeal can take years ...

I know they can. Who has the influence to get this heard by someone in the administration? The Second Amendment Foundation is well aware of this case I would assume. They have to be pushing this case upward???

Some argue the ATF should return to its original mission. But this is its original mission. The ATF is a federal agency policing a constitutional right alongside alcohol and tobacco, with broad, extrajudicial powers and little accountability.

That's it -- exactly.

To be fair to this guy it’s a training / policy failure by the ATF. It’s not his personal fault. I don’t think you should personally doxx him.

Lee Williams's avatar

This guy went far beyond anything he was taught in the ATF, unless the ATF is teaching their FEOs to lie under oath and make up stories.

The trial transcript is public record... Doxxing means giving out the guy's address, etc.

Totally agree. Thanks, Brian.

Gilgamech's avatar

You identified the office he works at and I believe you imply that was your own research not in the trial transcript?

Identifying someone’s name and place of work exposes them to a risk of harassment and attack.

What did you feel it added to your post to add this guy’s workplace.

Welcome to the war, my friend. You are under siege whether you realize it or not.

They want you unarmed / dead. They want to sodomize your wife and children, just as the EU, then take what you have and give it to their lackeys, while you're imprisoned.

Now is the time to choose.

Look, is your position that the ATF is fine, and this guy is a “bad apple”? I don’t think either of us think that. The ATF is rotten from the core out. This guy is just a symptom - an egregious one maybe. He isn’t the first to call a sheet of metal a machine gun in court and he wont be the last.

You have a convoluted way of expressing your position to say the least.

I agree his workshop actions were going too far. Obviously they recruited him because he could do these workshop fake-proofs.

Given that he was previously an independent gunsmith it’s worth considering that they put this guy under legal threats to get them to work for them.

Given that not just this guy but his whole chain of command - which he is at the bottom of not the top of - were making these same absurd false claims about “machine guns” it is wrong to pin that lying on him as an individual when he is so junior within ATF.

If you want a scapegoat, this guy is not your guy. Punch up, not down. This is just some kid.

Bodell lied multiple times under oath. He lied about the gun flats being machineguns, the RPGs being live rocket launchers, the legal open-bolt semi-autos being machineguns and he even lied about a toy STEN being a machinegun. IMHO, he's the reason why Adamiak is serving a 20-year sentence, which Bodell and the ASA's wanted to be a 30-year sentence. Bodell was the state's main witness and the reason Adamiak is serving two decades in prison. I cannot understand your desire to keep his name out of the stories, when he's the main reason we have the news stories. I agree with you that my stories may make him uncomfortable. Quite frankly, I hope they do.

Expand full comment
Gilgamech's avatar

I guess the question is whether he knowingly lied or is a victim of a corrupt policy within ATF.

Expand full comment
Lee Williams's avatar

There's no question he knew he was lying -- none whatsoever.

Expand full comment
Gilgamech's avatar

Well fair enough but how is that known?

Expand full comment
Lee Williams's avatar

Every single thing Adamiak owned -- every single gun or gun part is still sold legally online and in gun stores. He had nothing that was illegal -- absolutely nothing. All of Bodell's claims were bunk. You can still buy everything that Adamiak was jailed for. Most of it won't even require any paperwork such as an FFL.

There is no problem naming the guy and of course that is public record. Was it really helpful or necessary to point out his place of work? Those are the tactics of Antifa and that’s what makes me uncomfortable.

When you become a public servant you agree to give up some privacy to provide transparency to the public.

With your logic you agree that your child middle school principal can determine that your child is actually a cat and therefore litter boxes can be placed in the bathroom.

If you would call the principal out on social media or a school board meeting your no better than an antifa member for holding them accountable

Journalism is the foundation of the 1st amendment and without that right, our country would be no better communist China

The American Citizens from Waco didn't get to "Testify" either. Ruby Ridge Murders were "compensated" for ($) but certainly no prosecutions of the "mostly good hard working" field agents. Also a hat tip to the FIB Snipers (Sarc) & Jan 6th Agent provocateurs ......

My shop's ATF agent Kyle Wilkins fabricated a litany of false charges against us fod Kathy Hochul's "Interstate Task Force on Illegal Guns" including accusing me of being "involuntarily committed to a mental institution" and was found guilty of two counts 210.35 Sworn False Statements to the Grand Jury in the 2nd Degree on 2/14/23. While robbing my shop blind he and his conspirators manufactured an "assault rifle" out of inventory and customer property in for repair. Would love to share our story with you, the false "involuntarily committed" scheme affects 580,000+ others https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1BbkaMtWMH/?mibextid=oFDknk

Sounds like the ATF leadership needs to get spanked. What they did to Patrick Adamiak was a travesty of justice not to mention the murder of Bryan Malinowski, Waco and Ruby Ridge. AG Pam Bondi needs to look into this. I have tried contacting both congressmen in AZ and cannot get a response.

Out of curiosity, exactly how long does the Left think the populace will tolerate this?

People are beyond fed up with the government controlling those whom the government feels need to be controlled. That notion ended in the late 1700s, guys.

The only way to fight back, people, is to fight back.

When torches and pitchforks are no longer only in old movies, there will come a time when the enemies of the state, OUR State, will be held to account for their actions. At my age and condition, I am glad I will no longer be around to see what has happened in America before it is reclaimed as a true land of freedom, again.

Things will, without doubt, get physical.
