I like to hit back at the gun grabber lies with Switzerland's homicide numbers from the UN Office on Drugs and Crime. This has ratings of 204 nations with their standing by % of population, and has sortable ranking by a number of factors. The Swiss, who have full-auto, SIG 550 Assault rifles, in nearly every Swiss citizens homes have an intentional homicide rate of 0.059 per 100,000, or about ~50 homicides a year, and is a homicide rate FROM ALL CAUSES not just firearms. They also are one of the safest nations in the rankings. We here in the US rank at 5.9 per 100,000 and the World average is 5.19. So with al our guns we are still not the most violent. From memory, I believe Mexico with draconian gun control rates at ~25 per 100K and South Africa with ~45 per 100K.
A comparison of similar population size is fun, Switzerland is ~9 million, London ~11 million, and NYC is ~8 million. Both the latter have much larger rates and raw numbers of homicides than Switzerland despite BOTH them having very draconian gun controls: London ~1.2 per 100,000. NYC ~4 per 100,000. Switzerland ~ 0.6 per 100,000.
Another interesting factoid is the FBI Uniform Crime Reports numbers on Law Enforcement Officers Killed annually. I would use this with caution lest you get branded a 'racist' but the FBI numbers show that annually ~35% of officers are murdered by B/M offenders; a number way out of proportion to their ~6% representation in the US demographic.
My favorite quote from gun grabber advocates is from Josh Sugarman of the VPC who actually states they lie about the black rifles issue: “’Assault weapons' menacing looks, coupled with the public's confusion over fully-automatic machine guns versus semi-automatic ‘assault weapons’ anything that looks like a machine gun is assumed to be a machine gun-- can only increase the chance of public support for restrictions on these weapons.”— Josh Sugarman, executive director and founder of the Violence Policy Center (VPC) an anti-gun lobby group.
We are dealing with people to whom the ends fully justify the means, and are both morally bankrupt and ethically compromised.
I still argue that the 'full faith and credit' section of the Constitution, the 2A, and the 14th Amendment already handles that; or should if the SCOTUS would do it's duty.
Just don't ask about race when you use GVA's pumped numbers, they don't like that.

CNN needs to start reporting the news and stop repeating the lies.
So far there been 14,000 gun deaths including suicide.
