BREAKING: Florida Dems fail to force special session on ‘gun violence’
Democratic lawmakers in Florida failed to achieve enough votes to call a special legislative session to consider “gun violence.”
The lawmakers failed to achieve the mandatory super-majority of 60%, according to the Florida Secretary of State Cord Byrd.
Twenty percent of the legislature filed certificates calling for the session with Byrd’s office.
Sixteen Democrats in the Senate voted for the special session. Five Republicans opposed it.
Forty-one Democrats in the House voted for the session, and 14 Republicans opposed it.
Many Republicanssimply ignored the vote.
The lawmakers had until 3 p.m. Friday to cast their vote.
In a letter to Byrd calling for the special “gun violence” session, state Rep. Joseph Geller, D-Aventura, said there will be continued violence unless “concrete action was taken over weapons.”
The Democrats are always avoiding the true source of the violence.
I'd bet loads of money that 99.9999% of guns never resort to violence. They're completely docile until somebody picks them up and makes them do something they don't really want to do. All my guns are VERY lazy. They NEVER pick up after themselves and often leak on stuff I put them on. And, the NEVER listen to a word I say. I think they sleep ALL day long and then at night, too. smh... hmm, kinda reminds me of me when I was a teenager. uh-oh.
Can Democrat lawmakers really be so stupid?

CRIMINALS CAUSE VIOLENCE and many times criminals use guns in their violent actions.
Not guns.
Keep guns off the streets by keeping criminals off the streets.
It's quite simple and should be obvious even to the simpleminded.
