I pray for Tate’s redemption everyday. Please join me.
The way he describes conditions in this facility is enough to make me feel sick for him. I can only imagine how he makes it day in and day out.
The people responsible for putting him here are the lowest form of scum and I hope they get their due someday.
Senator Rick Scott is a damned virtue signaling liar for stating on a Florida radio station several months ago that he was going to check into Tate’s case and try to help him out. I’d really love to see someone in his state call his sorry ass out on this.
If we ever had any doubt about BATF's dedication to the rule of law, this situation should eliminate that doubt. An innocent man, convicted of spurious charges supported by a web of demonstrable lies, is imprisoned in something akin to a Soviet gulag. This cannot be allowed to stand in these United States. Evidence would do more than just suggest that we treat convicted murderers and sex offenders better. Once again Lee, thank you for keeping this issue front and center.
Yes Sir. We are closer to the Tyranny of which our founders feared and why they ensured the people were armed to prevent via the 2A. The founders clearly intended a superiority in numbers and equivalence in armament to any Army the new central government might raise: Their very words to that effect are avaliable and undeniable.
I am hardcore pro-2A and ALL Federal gun control is illegal despite what the Marxist-Stalinists and the ivy league lawyer cult wriggle to deny. After the 14th Amendment it is also illegal for the states and cities. Yet here we are with the 'Swampers" and elitist courts whittling away at our singularly most important right and jailing or murdering those who practise using it.
I am 73 now, have been in this fight for our rights my entire adult life, and sorely afraid I will pass over that river and never see our rights respected nor defended by government: Kind of sad really.
Based on everything Lee Williams has uncovered and reported, it appears that Tate Adamiak’s civil rights may have been violated. Wouldn’t that make his case something Harmeet Dhillon’s new Second Amendment section in the DOJ’s Civil Rights Division should be addressing?
Tate's story is a cautionary tale for any peasant who dares to intrude into the rarified air of our glorious Deep State Overlords. To paraphrase Stalin's henchman, "Show me the man and I'll show you his crime."
Not surprised. The BATF has been caught before tampering with evidence and lying on affidavits for search and arrest warrants. This is a rogue agency that before the GCA of 1968 were essentially tax collectors on alcohol and tobacco under the Treasury Department. The 1968, unconstitutional gun control rocketed the BATF into the big leagues of law enforcement a role for which they were ill suited. Their operations have cost lives at Ruby Ridge and Waco. I have read the affidavit for search for the Waco raid and from my perspective as a 50 years service LEO it was a pathetic joke. IMNSHO the entire agency should be Bradied and barred from testifying in court. Mr. Adamiak is a prime example of the nonsense the BATFE pulls far too often. The agency is beyond redemption and frankly should be disbanded ASAP.
I know I am preaching to the choir, but Virginia is on the cusp of going California Crazy on gun control and this go around we don't have Youngkins veto pen to stop them. The CIA spy will sign every gun grabbing law our, now Marxist-Stalinist controlled, General Assembly passes.
Our only hope is for SCOTUS to step up and put them straight, but it looks like those cowards will continue to kick that 2A can down the road...again. This is not the Virginia of my youth and I fear I will be heading west soon if I want to keep some semblance of my 2A rights intact.
Government of the people, by the people, for the people no longer exists in this country. It is now enslavement by the Deep State. The rights of the people are now more a wish than a reality. How far this Republic has fallen since the Constitution and Bill of Rights were written. Instead of protection against tyrannical government, the Bill of Rights has been weaponized against us. The Republic is in danger from within and without, but our worst enemy is probably our own government. Every agency of the government is more heavily armed and equipped than any citizen could dream of.
I feel sorry for Tate-- he did not deserve this treatment from his government, especially as an active and loyal patriotic member of the military. But, let this case be a warning: this could happen to any one of us.
At this point, the ATF needs to be dissolved, as is the case for most of the government.

Thanks for reading, David. I, too, was thinking about Soviet gulags while writing this story.

A M E N ! ! !

Fyodor Dostoevsky said, "The degree of civilization in a society can be judged by entering its prisons."
America has imprisoned an innocent man in a prison system that is clearly uncivilized.

I could not agree more, sir!
