A letter from your editors: The worst is yet to come from the Biden-Harris administration
by Lee Williams and Mark Walters
(Editor’s note: This letter was first published on my companion website: ArmedAmericanNews.org.)
Joe Biden’s puppet-masters took a massive public hit yesterday when they were forced to announce they were spiking David Chipman’s nomination to head the ATF.
Chipman was a terrible nominee, a miscalculation of epic proportions. Chipman was such a poor choice his nomination prompted well-publicized defections from Biden’s own party.
Mark and I were struck by the timing of the Chipman-dumping announcement. Usually, the White House “takes out the trash” and dumps their bad news on Friday afternoons, not Thursday mornings when the 24-hour news cycle is ramping up. The administration had to have something else up their sleeve, we thought.
As expected, the Biden-Harris regime pivoted to unconstitutionaland. They had to get the media’s focus off of Chipman as well as their murderous Afghan withdrawal, so they loaded the teleprompters, woke Joe from his fifth nap, and pointed him toward the waiting cameras. After rambling for 26 minutes, Joe ducked and ran for cover while the media were shouting questions about constitutionality.
Biden’s vaccine mandates for private businesses, which even Democrats admit is unconstitutional, will prove to be an even bigger miscalculation than his ATF pick. Put simply, it’s unconstitutional as hell. His own chief-of-staff, Ron Klain, admitted as much when he retweeted a post from an MSLSD reporter, who called Biden’s mandates “the ultimate work-around for Federal govt to require vaccinations.” By the way, the document they’re working around is the Constitution of the United States of America.
The ruse worked. The White House successfully changed the media narrative, which was their sole goal, especially since Saturday is the 20th Anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
The unconstitutionality of Biden’s vaccine mandates reminds a lot of us of his aborted eviction moratorium, which the Supreme Court quickly shot down.
What does this all mean for gun owners? Everything, and none of it is good.
Joe Biden is under tremendous pressure to “do something” about our guns. The gun banners have not given up. They recently sent Joe a strongly worded letter. Barack Obama, Susan Rice and whoever else is really calling the shots while Joe naps couldn’t care less about the Constitution or our civil rights. They’ve already tried unconstitutional work-arounds, twice, with little political fallout. Any Republican president who tried to subvert the Constitution, twice, would be neck-deep in impeachment proceedings by now.
So, what’s coming? Unfortunately, it’s going to be big. We predict we’ll see an outright ban, especially since the CDC is chomping at the bit to conduct anti-gun research, which will of course be used as ammo by this corrupt administration for a massive totalitarian edict.
At the same time, the Biden-Harris regime will continue to nibble around the edges of our civil rights with less-controversial executive orders and restrictions, like we just saw with their Russian ammo ban.
Mark and I are glad Chipman is gone, and we wish him well in his future endeavors, which we believe will be in either the food-service or the hospitality industry. However, now is not the time for us to relax. Something big is coming and it won’t be pretty.
This corrupt administration wants our guns, and they’ve shown they won’t let pesky little things like the Constitution or the Supreme Court stand in their way.
The “Great Uniter” is presiding over the greatest division our country has seen since the Civil War.
Mark and I believe as long as the Biden-Harris administration continues to violate our Constitution, the worst is yet to come.
We really hope we’re wrong.
Lee and Mark
My very first thought after Chipman was removed: something worse is up.
I've been of the personal (paranoid) opinion that they are planning a false flag operation - either a "terrorist" attack or using the next demonstration in D.C. to declare martial law, tag every citizen as a "domestic terrorist" and go door to door, taking guns and giving jabs.
I pray I'm wrong.
Couldn’t agree more. Everything about this administration, from the gun control BS, to the mandates, is all sinister… After 16 years working the open waters in Florida, Ive finally applied for a law enforcement position. For state pride reasons and unfortunately, selfish ones. I want my rights protected and want to keep my legally purchased firearms. Law enforcement seems to be the way to protect that moving forward. I say this personal stuff just to show the mindset of myself and others out there. Our rights are under attack more than ever. We are at a junction point In our time, I truly believe that….Great stuff as always Lee.
